MTR Sambar Powder - 200gm

This fiery soup, sambhar, is a South Indian staple dish and is flavored to perfection with this spice mix. This robust curry is a mix of coriander, cumin, fenugreek, rice, chillies and cinnamon.

Each pack is 200gm or 7oz.

How to Cook:

  1. Cook 4 tbsp Toor dal + 2 cup water +½ tsp oil ( 4 whistles in pressure cooker)
  2. Add ¾ cup cut vegetables, one small size cut onion and one medium size cut tomato& cook well. Add 1 tbsp MTR Sambar
  3. Powder + 3 cup water, Cook well. Add 2 tbsp tamarind pulp (1:5, tamarind: water)+ salt, Cook well.
  4. Heat 2 tsp oil + ¼ tsp mustard seeds + 2 red chili + 1 sprig curry leaves.
  5. Add to sambar.
